I have a theory for this hack, it is probably very wrong however might be the true story, have any thoughts of debunking or defending this theory, let me know in the comment section. THE STORY: Mario is the lone worshipper of this cult as "he" may have sacrificed Peach to the King/"HE", this is also backed-up by Mario likely making a red illustration of the forest and showing it to Peach, in which she says that is a harsh color, however "he" responds with that "HE" loves Red. "They" and "he" are what I think is supposed to be referring to Mario because in one dialogue in the peach section of the game it tells her to go back in show "Them" what she truly is or something amongst those lines, which is further proved but Mario killing a majority if not all enemies in a stage in a regular Mario game. And Mario can be "he" because the King is "HE" as in the final ending of the hack, there are two messages that contradict each other so while this might be a stretch this might also lead us one step closer to the true story of this hack. "They" can also be referred as Mario because "he" exists infinitely, this can be because of Mario's previous adventures in which he may have gained hundreds of lives or maybe because the hack keeps getting restarted (lastly this is proved because of the various Mario's in the different endings.) The Green Princess Peach is not the King/"HE" but is her spirit watching Mario as "he" destroys the forest, and what once was their home. The shadow mario is that from the HELL ending as "he" might have sent a projection to himself that "he" is the heart of the cult. Both the King and The Spirit are aware of Mario's infinitely existing because of the evidence provided above about the hack restarting over and over and because of Mario's previous adventures. The Spirit is what I have named the Green Peach is the one at the start of the game saying "again?" because she has grown tired of seeing everything she loved crashing and burning over & over again. The cabin was likely built due to Mario being commanded by the instruction of the King and what the reason would be is probably never going to be officially found out. THE SONG TITLES: The old skin would refer to peach's dead and likely drowned corpse. 'the 'end refers to the forest, & Mario's summoning of the King (The end of the hack) Collection refers to the collection of wood for the cabin Caller refers to the King calling Mario back over and over again, while the Cellar may refer to Peach as she is trapped in her own spiritual cellar unable to do anything that is happening. The death is that of Peach and The hated refers to Mario & the King as Peach by this point of seeing the forest what was once their home be destroyed over and over again must invigorate hatred within her. THE WRAP UP: To conclude my theory, I believe that Mario is caught within a cult that only he is apart of that focuses of reviving the King as it is believed to be a god, The King being the entity being summoned to take control of the forest, and the Green Peach being her Spirit watching everything crash and burn over and over again thanks to the King and Mario. However, The Spirit may not be a fitting name for the Green Princess Peach as it is mentioned nowhere within the hack instead, I propose a better name that is in the hack being "The Witness" as she has witnessed everything crash and burn over and over again. This is my theory, choose to believe it, debunk it, or defend it as I believe that if I have not solved this creepypasta I might've at least got a step in the right direction to ending this mystery once and for all.

I’m not sure if this was intentional on the writer’s part, but there _is_ something like the Blind Boo in Mario canon. In _Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island, Yoshi’s Story,_ and _Super Princess Peach,_ there’s an enemy called the Boo Man Bluff, which is essentially a blindfolded Boo that tracks the player by sound.

Imagine if the music in the level sounded like the theme for Luigi’s Negative Zone Final Smash from _Super Smash Bros. Brawl_
